Limata aims to make your ticket-purchasing experience a comfortable, enjoyable, and equitable one so that you relish your movies/events without having to worry about otherwise usually tiring process of getting entry-tickets. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on Limata.com. Should you have any queries regarding the policies, please contact our helpdesk, we would be happy to clarify them.

Internet Banking

If you have an account with any of the below mentioned banks, then you can pay for your order through respective bank''s net banking options and the amount will be automatically debited from your account.

1.2.    Over the phone purchase

 

You can buy or just block your tickets through our phone-booking facility. You can simply call us to book your tickets.

 

2.       Limata’s role as a ticket provider

 

Limata acts as an intermediary between its Partners(Theatres/Event promoters or organisers) and Ticket Buyers (“Users”, using this Site to buy tickets ) to facilitate the purchase and sale of movie/event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the Ticket Buyers (you) and ticket-selling Theatres/Event promoters or organisers.

 

3.       Pricing and Availability

 

Limata sells tickets on behalf of our Partners(Theatres/Event promoters or organisers). Limata does not define ticket prices, determine show/event times, or control ticket availability and inventory. You will be responsible for paying all applicable taxes in connection with your purchase of any tickets. Limata will control only the convenience charge levied by Limata.

 

4.       Tickets to be bought for children 3 years and above

Most of our Partners have a policy which implies that ticket should be bought for children 3 years and above. If your children are younger than 3 years, you may to carry them in your arms. However, 3 years and older children will need separate tickets and will get a separate seat. However, in some cases our Partners may allow children over three years without an extra ticket. In such cases you are advised to contact our Partner directly for confirmation.

 

5.       Safety of transactions made on Limata

 

We believe that purchasing tickets from our website is absolutely safe. We use the latest industry standard encryption technology to keep User’s personal information safe. All ordering information (including names and credit card details) is encrypted using SSL ("Secure Sockets Layer") for maximum security. Credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our booking system. Credit card transactions are handled by a third party financial institution which receives the credit card number and other personal identifying information only to verify the credit card numbers and to process transactions.

 
6.       Convenience Charges which applies

 

To provide our services in an economically viable mode, Tickets purchased over Limata are levied with a convenience fee unless otherwise mentioned. All types of convenience charges levied are non-refundable.

 
7.       Maximum tickets which can be bought by a Customer

 

In order to prevent any kind of misuse of the site, Limata restricts the maximum number of tickets, which can be bought by a single User. This maximum limits vary by the kind of event and any contract with our partners.

 
8.       Postponed/Cancelled Events

 

At times it may happen that the events/shows booked by you can are cancelled or postponed by our Partners (Theatres/Event promoters or organisers). In such events, we will attempt to contact you and refund the amount as per the policy of our Partners. In cases of postponement, new tickets will not need to be issued. User should save their tickets for use on the new event date. In any event of show/event cancellation Limata shall never be liable to you or any ticket holder for more than the cost of refunding the admission price and the fee for the relevant tickets. Convenience charge is non-refundable in any case.

 
9.       Errors related to Ticket Price

 

There may occur some rare instance when the amount paid by you for a ticket is incorrect. This may happen when a human or technical error may result in an incorrect price shown on the Site, incorrect price communicated to you, or incorrect amount being processed. There may also be rare cases where tickets are sold on our Site before the scheduled date for sale.

 

In such cases Limata will have right to cancel that ticket and refund to you the amount that you paid. However in any such cases, Limata will contact with you as soon as the error is identified and inform you accordingly.

 

10.   Policy for ticket Cancellation/Exchange/Refund

 

Limata does not offer refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased on our Site or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. Same applies to per-ticket convenience charge which is not refundable. Before making the payment we request you to please check for sure the show/event detail for the name, time and location of the movie/event you wish to see/attend.


Limata will place an order for your tickets with our Partner’s ticketing system (manual or electronic), reducing the number of seats available for the chosen event time. While this allows you to enjoy confirmed seats, it deters Limata and our Partners from reselling tickets in the scenario you do not attend the event/show at time you have booked your ticket.

In a case when you are not able to attend a movie or event for the particular time you booked for, you can directly contact theatre/multiplex management or Event promoter/organisers for any refunds whatsoever. We advise you that you contact the event promoter prior to your show time, as they may not issue refunds or provide exchanges after the show time. Any refund or exchange is at the discretion of Event Management (theatre/multiplex management or Event promoter/organisers) and can only be conducted at the box office sales of event.

 

11.   Customer Verification at ticket window

 

Limata provides you with a confirmation number with every booking on our SITE. We will also provide you with

  • A electronic receipt via email and a confirmation sms if ticket is booked over website
  • A confirmation sms if ticket is booked over phone

 

You need to provide this confirmation number along with Credit Card used for ticket booking or any photo id of the person whose credit card or bank account has been used for booking. In case the person, whose credit card or bank account has been used for booking , is not coming himself/herself in person , photocopy of the credit card, used for booking, and his/her photo-id card is required to be presented at the event/show’s booking-window.
